For alltid

"For Alltid" is a chocolate brand that shows a typical Norwegian relationship in its different phases using items and symbols that are significant to couples depending on their age.

Idea
To create a clear brand identity through the packaging of the chocolate,
I based my graphic design around a story showing how relationships grow and change over time. I wanted to convey this by using different symbols to show what kinds of activities were typical for couples in different stages of their relationship.
Process
I talked to different people within the age groups I wanted to represent, 
and created a mind map for each of the phases of love. In the end, I chose five items to symbolize the actions in each phase before creating illustrations.

Logo design
I wanted to create a simple look that would appeal to the typical Norwegian customer but where each design would resonate especially with different customers based on their love life. For alltid means forever, and it can be interpreted as a love that lasts forever or a chocolate that is always tasty no matter what.

The design is printed on paper with three types of chocolate with different added flavors, where the flavours also represent the varying phases of love.​​​​​​​
